As per Companies Act 1956, NBPPL is a Private Limited Company. However, Company’s working is auditable by CAG and follows the working procedure of its promoters.
NBPPLs compensation is inline line with Department of Public Enterprise, Government of India Guidelines. Upon induction, candidates are placed at the minimum of salary range. Apart from Basic Salary, compensation package comprises of Dearness Allowance linked to All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial workers (Industrial DA), Perks basket of 46% of Basic, HRA/lease, Employer’s Contribution of PF (on Basic +DA). Employees are covered under Medical Attendance Rule of the Company of Domiciliary treatment and Medical insurance for Hospitalization. Employees are also covered under Life Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance Coverage. Gratuity is applicable as per statutory provisions. Annual Performance Related Pay is payable as per Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) guidelines.
As of now, NBPPL is setting up Coal Handing / Ash Handling equipment manufacturing plant at Mannavaram, Sri Kalahasti Mandal, District: Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh (Near Tirupati). Mannavaram is going to be major hub of NBPPL activities in near future. Company is executing EPC projects at Namrup (Assam), Palatana (Tripura) and Monarchak (Tripura). Posting of executives is decided based on business requirements as per discretion of management.
All executive / managerial positions are transferable.
