Shri RPS Sisodia, GM & Head, PSBG-I, BHEL

Shri RPS Sisodia has been inducted as Part Time Official Director on the Board of NBPPL w.e.f 20.07.2023. He is presently working with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as General Manager & Head, Power Sector Business Group-I and is responsible for the complete business development of BHEL’s thermal portfolio, which inter-alia includes securing orders, project execution and contract closure of various projects of central, state and private sector utilities.

 

Shri RPS Sisodiais a 1984 batch Mechanical Engineering graduate from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra and joined BHEL in 1990 at Heavy Engineering Equipment Plant, Haridwar. He has a diverse and versatile experience spanning almost 33 years, and has carried out various activities like Gas & Steam Turbine Engineering at BHEL/Hardwar, Marketing of Utility Scale Thermal Power Projects, spearheading commercial activities for a Power Sector Region and acting as Construction Manager of India’s largest EPC based power project. He was also actively involved in erection and commissioning of an overseas project i.e West Mountain Gas Turbine Power Project, Libya.

 

Shri Sisodia's dedication and commitment make him a valuable asset to the organizations he has been associated with. His leadership and professional acumen have led to successful project executions and enhanced business performance.

 

His extensive experience in domain of the Engineering, Commercial, Marketing and Project Execution have provided him a holistic perspective regarding the changes in the business environment and as a result, he has a remarkable track record of contributing effectively towards the strategy formulation and implementation for the organization’s growth and for the benefit of the nation’s Power Sector.
