Shri Prem Parkash, Executive Director - NTPC

Shri Prem Parkash is Executive Director in NTPC Ltd and presently working as Chief Executive Officer in Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL, A subsidiary company of NTPC Ltd in JV with JBVNL).   He has graduated Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering in 1985 from REC Kurukshetra (presently NIT Kurukshetra). He joined NTPC as Executive Trainee (10th Batch).   He has more than 37 years’ experience (including more than 8 years’ experience in Senior Management) in Project Planning, Monitoring & Execution of Power Projects, Contract Management, Costing & Techno Economic Evaluation of projects, Finalisation of Gas/RLNG Contractsin NTPC Ltd. He has worked at various Projects at Senior level in NTPC Ltd as GM/CGM/ED.  

Before joining PVUNL as CEO, He was Head of Barh Project as ED- Barh. Also, he has served as Executive Director in Project Management Dept at Corporate Centre, responsible for project monitoring and management for all NTPC projects under execution.   Before ED-PM, as Chief General Manager, he was CGM-Project, Telangana, responsible for Project execution involving planning, execution and monitoring of entire Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & C&I works of 2X800MW super critical units for Telangana Project.   He has worked as General Manager - Project Planning & Monitoring at Corporate Centre for 4 years. He also worked as GM(Project) for Vindhyachal (Stage-V), responsible for Project execution involving planning, execution and monitoring of Entire Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & C&I works of stage-V(1x500MW) & balance works of Stage-IV(2x500 MW).   Also, he has worked in Gas Sourcing at Corporate Centre, responsible for tie up of Gas/ RLNG for all Gas based stations of NTPC through APM Gas/Non APM Gas/Spot RLNG/Long term RLNG, exploring opportunities in LNG value chain.  

He is associated with NBPPL as Director since 26.10.2020.
