Shri Anurag Gupta, BHEL Nominee

Anurag Gupta is B.Tech (Civil) from IIT-BHU 1990 batch and joined in BHEL, the same year through campus selection. He has worked in Hyderabad, Hardwar and Jhansi manufacturing units of BHEL and also in Power Sector Western Region.

He has a wide variety of experience in the fields of Design, Maintenance, Tendering and Execution of Civil and other works, Public Relations, Materials & Stores Management, HR & CSR. He was notified estate officer and Central Public Information Officer (CPIO). He was Management Representative (MR) for ISO14001 & OHSAS18001. He developed an offline system for Award of works contract. He played a key role in the development of system for the complete supply chain management at BHEL, Jhansi called SMART. He successfully executed various Waste to Wealth activities, including a waste to energy project at BHEL canteen.

He also handled civil works of 1x660MW Bhusawal Thermal Power Station. He is on various academic and advisory committees of Bundelkhan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jhansi, (U.P Govt. College).
